I almost forgot about the post today as I found a free trial game on Yahoo. It is called Dream Day Wedding: Married in Manhattan and it’s about wedding planning.

I didn’t get to the gorgeous backrounds as the free trial stopped and I was invited to buy the game. I admit it is catchy but I won’t buy myself an addiction…

Hattrick

I like to think that I am addicted to harmless things. One of these things could become dangerous though, if it triggers dependence. It’s Hattrick and it’s an online game.
Hattrick is not that harmless, but it’s not dangerous either, at least that’s not my case.
I’ve started in 2006, October and I am logging in every day, except when I am on vacation. The idea of owning a football club, although a virtual one, appealed to me. Even if you have staff around you (trainer, accountants, spokespersons, doctors…), you, as a manager, call the shots, you are all those persons. You cannot be the players though, and they are the most important pieces in Hattrick. My goal is to become a better manager, to bring prestige to my club, to reinforce financial stability and growth.
I consider Hattrick a low-scale management training and sometimes I am fond of the results.
